but I do believe if I don’t have dreams to chase my life would be very boring, I always love to re-invent myself and try new things
just like becoming an artist I had the dream that I would like to paint,a little over 2 years ago now and so I got off the couch and went to the art supplies shop and came home and made a start my very first painting was thai boat and the rest is well as they say history ( 8-)

things have been quite hectic here the past few weeks,I have added another outlet to display my art,Gribbles Pathology Rooms in Phillip Island now have 5 of my abstract works on their walls originally I was going to take the big fish painting I created (seatopia) but It has now gone to Ray White Real Estate Agents in Phillip Island.

Also come December, I will be having a solo exhibition at Mushroom Arts & Crafts gallery in Leongatha The Show is Called Funky in December and I will be exhibiting all my funky pop art paintings for the entire month unless of course I get sold out fingers crossed.(Xmas pressies)

All this has to be done in the next week as I am off on a holiday to Thailand very soon.can hardly wait for this as I need a holiday big time

all of my shells and beads I have collected from local op-shops in my area which I love to do and have found some amazing items to add to my collages and mosaics,just last week I found a huge bag of lace which I plan to use on something in the coming weeks. I just am amazed at the items that people just toss out anyhow that's just my good fortune as some of these items I have found would certainly be more expensive if I was buying them new and not pre-loved.Recycling is a very enjoyable past time for me so if any of you out there have things that you might think I could use in my art just email me I would really appreciate it........

well I have been so busy getting things ready for my exhibitions,my 5 little artworks have left Australia for new york,fingers crossed its a huge sell out for me.



I also managed to get a new place to display my art the pathology rooms in Phillip Island

they have decided their blank walls needed a little brightening up,so will be taking a few paintings across next week.



because Phillip island is near the beach I am sticking to a beach art theme for all the paintings I will put there,will post the pics for you next week.

about my art she invited me to particpate in their next exhibition

so I registered and five of my little art works are getting shipped to new york today.

I created this one with my granddaughter katie who was here last week for the school holidays.we added inspirational thoughts and collaged lots of buttons sequins glitter wooden letters papers and sectioned each one with purple ribbon and buttons
we had a great time creating this as she loves to make art just as much as me and she is only 10 years old and has lots of potential I think (biased)
this original is a keeper though and is not for sale but i will be uploading each section individually which you can purchase as cards n prints etc…...... at red bubble
