Painted this just before I took off on holiday

Its my dog buster and his coat of many colours

just got back from a 2 week break in Thailand I had an amazing time

but glad to be home.

went to uni today to pick up my art folio and to collect my end of year assessment mark

very happy they gave me a Merit and great comments regarding my art.

which sort of blows me away because I always doubt my ability as an artist

any how now that I am back will be loading up lots of art to ebay

that I created while at uni this year now that I can offer it up for sale at last

but this will happen after the weekend as I have to head to Phillip Island tomorrow

so by for now

I have collaged old book pages to the paper and gave it a coat of gesso
the image of the lady is blue ink and I added water colour paint to the background and have hand written the words I am gonna wash that man out of my hair which is from a song I remember not sure who sung it though

ROAD TO DISCOVERY

sometimes as you travel down life's road you will come to the old fork in the road and its up to you which road you take

sometimes it may not be the right one,but its up to you to realize when it is wrong for you and to get back on track and on the right road

sure it may be hard but that's what life is all about,being on a road to discovery

I had fun creating this one especially all the details in the leaves

some of the items I used included grout for the leaves

sand paper for the houses and soil mixed with pva glue for the road

It is created on a gallery wrapped canvas ready to hang

sorry for the lack of posts lately its been a sad time for me as my little dog buster became very ill and we had to put him to rest he was in our life for over 11 years and he was just the best little dog anyone could every wish for he is sadly missed
